It’s been seven months since the initial I Joined! training, and we’re nearly halfway through the 559 Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs across the state. Eighty-six Lions Clubs have scheduled their programs, and 163 clubs have already received the program!

I Joined! progress

On February 28, the Michigan Eye-Bank Lions State Committee and Lions Advisory Council met to discuss the progress of the I Joined! Campaign. The overall feeling was that this program is a great success, due mostly to the emotional impact the Donor Family DVD has on the audience.

As of March 2, we have reached 44.5% of Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs in the state of Michigan. The end of April will mark the halfway point of this campaign, and will hopefully find us somewhere near 50%. We are well on our way to reaching 100% of Michigan Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs by December, 2009.
