Midwest Eye-Banks is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Vice President, Clinical Operations. This position will provide leadership and direction for tissue recovery, laboratory operations and tissue processing functions for all Midwest Eye-Banks divisions and subsidiaries. The position will also represent Midwest Eye-Banks in its clinical interactions with other organizations.

The successful candidate will develop, recommend and implement goals and objectives for clinical programs, participate in planning and policy development for administrative and clinical operations, provide oversight of laboratory operations for all sites, ensure compliance of all clinical locations with EBAA Medical Standards, Midwest Eye-Banks policies and procedures and applicable state/Federal regulations, monitor budgets for clinical staffing and supplies, participate in hiring and training, and assist in development and review of training and reference materials.

Position requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, clinical background and at least ten years’ experience in eye banking and management sufficient to perform duties required by the position, as determined by the Senior Vice President.
